After a first solid album in 2008 “ In Loving Memory Of a Dead Rock Rock Band “, ED-ÄKE is working right now on a second album “Decadence And Poetry”. The second album, will be ready in Febuary 2010.

Every year Surfside Sports throws a huge Snow Carnival to hype up some early winter fun. This year Electric rolled out the new Roulette game, where we gave out plenty of stickers, soft goods and even a few lucky winners walked away with a pair of Sunglasses or Goggles. Alongside of Volcom, Electric also had a custom Trucker Hat press with tons of different Electric Logo’s you could pick from for your very own custom hat. With around 1000 kids in attendance everyone walked away with something cool in their hands.
Electric would like to thank Duke from Surfside Sports along with all their employees for making the 2009 Surfside Sports Snow Carnival a damn good time.

NOVEMBER 5TH, 2009 | RASTA & CREW HAVE ARRIVED AT BONDI TO A WELCOMING CROWD AND ONE AMAZING JOURNEY COMPLETED | BONDI BEACH, NSW, AUSTRALIA
Rasta and the Transparentsea team have finished their journey from Byron Bay at Bondi today in front of a huge crowd and over 100 surfers who paddled out to sea and clapped the crew home to the Bondi sand.
The Transpareantsea team has been on this amazing journey for 36 days to raise awareness about Japanese whaling in the southern ocean. With their message now being heard loud and clear they have asked for everyone’s help by signing there petition and help stop Japanese whaling all together in the southern ocean.
NOVEMBER 3RD, 2009 | ELECTRIC EUROPE SIGNS SURFER ANDY CRIERE | FRANCE
Electric Europe is proud to announce the signing of European Surfer Andy Criere to our Kids Surf Team.
At just 14 years old, the young surfer from Hendaye (France), is already well known on the junior surf scene, with solid results such as a title of Vice French Champion and Aquitaine Champion.
Next year, Andy will be focusing on travels (leaving soon for Australia and New Zeland ), photo and video sessions, and ripping French and European contests.
He will join Aldric God, Charly Quivront, PC Distinguin, Gaspard Larsonneur and Ugo Robin on the “Electric Volt Future Program“.

OCTOBER 31ST, 2009 | KYLE BUSCH WINS NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES RACE | TALLADEGA SUPERSPEEDWAY, ALABAMA
Electric’s Kyle “Rowdy” Busch pushed his way to the win at the Camping World Truck Series Race this past Saturday. Kyle who is known for his stellar performances in the truck series seemed to sit back a little until the end where teammate Aric Almirola would give Kyle a little push to victory.
This victory would be Kyle’s sixth Truck Series win of the year, his ninth top five and his 11th top 10 in just 12 starts. Kyle also has four Sprint Cup series wins and seven in the Nationwide Series, where he is on the verge of clinching the Championship. Next stop is Texas Motor Speedway for the Dickies 500.
