APRIL 29, 2010 | ELECTRIC “DIRTY MEGA” PARTY! | WILMINGTON, NC
“Dirty Mega” is a house music party that goes down the thursday of every month at Club Odessa in Downtown Wilmington, NC with 4 local DJ’s including Electric Team Rider “Sir Nick Bland”!
This was the first Electric sponsored & promoted “Mega Party” and it was nothing short of just that! It started in Wrightsville Beach’s local Mexi hot spot “Tower 7″ for home town super star “Ben Bourgeois” to twist us up some pre-game cocktails as he celebrity bartended for a local fundraiser!
Once Benny clocked out everyone rallied downtown to turn it up a notch! The doors opened at 9pm and by 11pm the party was at maximum capacity! “Dirty Mega” absolutely raged to the point where half the boys had gotten kicked out a few times and somehow talked themselves back in. A.L.E., local Police, and the Fire Dept. showed up! Girls were dressed to a “T” dancing it up all night!
Electric threw out tons of promo to our supporters and the select few that were really doing it rolled out with some fresh shades! Thank you to everyone who came out! May have to skip next month to recover but we will do this again!!!!

Electric’s young Ryan Callinan took the win at the Kuston Airstrike with a perfect Forehand Single Grab Air 360 maneuver at Umhlanga Beach.
The Australian visitor, fresh off a second place at the Billabong Pro Junior, thrilled the spectators and judges alike with his no-holds-barred surfing, and at the end of the contest had the top scoring move under his belt as well as the R5,000 cash.
Ryan Callinan joined the Electric team in July 2009 when Luke Egan recommended we sign the promising young sixteen year old. Ryan competes on the Pro Junior series full time, is currently rated 10th and is fast becoming one of Australia’s rising star’s.
Electric’s Libor Podmol has taken over the points lead of the FIM IFMXF World Championship after a solid showing in Basel Switzerland on the weekend.
Libor dominated day 1 putting together a flawless run in the final to win in front of Rob Adelberg. The second night Libor was very unlucky not to win as in the final he changed his run from the night before instead of doing a undeflip indy he performed a world first double nac underflip but to his disappointment the judges did not see it and thought he had missed going for underflip indy and scored him down leaving him in 3rd for the night.
“I am very happy to leave Basel with points lead with Rob it is going to be a fight to the last round for world championship, thanks to all my sponsors who are behind me, I am working hard and looking forward to the rest of the year” said Libor.
From Basel Libor is headed to Egypt for the second round of Red Bull X Fighters then directly after egypt he will fly to Turkey for round 4 of the World Championship.
Libor would like to thank his sponsors Electric Visual, Rockstar Energy, DC Shoes, Bonver, Fox Racing, Pro Taper, FMF, Works Connection, Slim Graphix, Alpinestars, Ethika, Motorex, and Uni Filter.
