SEPTEMBER 10, 2010 | 1ST ANNUAL CLADDAGH FUND CELEBRITY GOLF TOURNAMENT | CAPE COD, MA
The 1st Annual Claddagh Fund Celebrity Golf Tournament co-hosted by Bobby Orr, NHL Hall of Famer, and Ken Casey of the Dropkick Murphys went down this past weekend in Cape Cod, MA. The players had their choice of two of the most beautiful and prestigious golf clubs in New England, the Golf Club of Cape Cod or Ballymeade Country Club.

Electric hosted hole 16 on the Ballymeade course which happened to be a hole-in-one hole worth $10,000. Not only were players excited for the chance at the cash but they also got excited to get hooked up with some free Electric schwag and refreshments while hanging out at what came to be the most popular hole of the day.

Bobby Orr and Ken Casey weren’t on a team and instead cruised around both courses all day playing holes with each team.

Things got pretty exciting when they stopped by our hole and Bobby had fun trying on and picking out some new shades for himself.

Following the tournament there were raffles and a silent auction which helped raise money for the Claddagh Fund. The Claddagh Fund provides assistance to organizations that share in the three attributes symbolized in the Claddagh ring friendship, love and loyalty. The Fund provides assistance to organizations that share in these goals, prioritizing the needs of children, veterans, and their families and the most vulnerable populations in our community.

Electric would like to thank everyone who came out to support such a great event and organization. See you next year!

A SURF BLOG BY DAVE RASTOVICH | DAWN SLEEPERS & SUNSET CREEPERS
Well I’ve been having a great week with all the Electric crew, as well as catch up with some of the local crew I grew up surfing with.

We’ve had some great sessions with the boys. I’ve been blown away with Ry & Craig’s surfing. I told Hoy over a beer yesterday I’m going to go surf by myself and practice at a secret location, then come out of nowhere and start doing turns like these guys. What their doing is totally blowing my mind.

We just had a crazy storm come through this afternoon. I was shooting some photos with Bacco for my coming Electric ad while the rest were down the beach playing some footie. Out of nowhere these huge black clouds came though, followed by a crazy wind, which created a mini tornado. It was insane.

All I need now to complete my trip here is a session with Hoy & Law out at Angourie. Thanks for checking out our pics, make sure you buy the next issue of Tracks Magazine to catch our trip on the DVD cover mount.

Rasta.

MAY 28 – SEPTEMBER 6TH, 2010 | 2ND ANNUAL ELECTRIC NATIONAL SUMMER SALES CONTEST
The official, “un-official” end of summer happened on Labor Day. That can only mean one thing; we have to crown a champion for our National Summer Sales Contest, with the winner going to Hawaii for 7 days! Not only is it Hawaii, but the winner will be staying at the Volcom Pipe House on the North Shore! It was close battle throughout the contest period (May 28-Sept 6), with shops on both coasts competing for the grand prize.

In the end, Sun Diego’s Fashion Valley location pulled out the victory as they led nearly the entire contest! ELECTRIC would like to say thank you to all of the retailers who competed in the contest and gave it their all. It does not go unappreciated.
Congratulations to Sun Diego Fashion Valley for the win and we will see you in Hawaii!
