This past weekend ELECTRIC had our annual Spring Kickoff Party held in beautiful downtown Wilmington, NC at the award winning Satellite Bar & Lounge.
The Venue, along with the presence of all accounts, friends, and family created one of the best Events that Wilmington has seen in a long time! BIG thanks to Surf City, Sweetwater, Aussie Island, Hot Wax, Green Room, and Side Arm Surf Shops for coming out and hanging with us throughout this amazing evening!
The line up for the night included “The Meanwhiles” hailing from Nashville Tennessee, and “Deep Chatham” from our very own North Carolina. These guys absolutely rocked the house with warm sounds, lyrics from the south, and a hyped bluegrass vibe to keep everyone moving all night long.
Thanks to Satellite and the whole ELECTRIC Crew for all the help and good times. Can’t wait until the next year. Until then… Yewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
Electric held the inaugural St. Flatricks Day up at Brighton this past Saturday. Bad weather did not stop the 50 kids who showed up to Shred the Flat Ground set up, with guest judges Chris Bradshaw and Lucas Magoon all the kids wanted to show them what was up.
The first Jam session was about 45 minutes and then took the top 13 into a heated 30minute action packed Final.

With a lay-day from the Quiksilver Pro Snapper Rocks almost guaranteed on the 2nd of March, it was perfect conditions for a party!
Dusty Payne is one of Electric’s most innovative and talented surfers on our team, and to celebrate the release of Dusty’s signature sunglasses the D.PAYNE we decided to kick off the year with a bang by holding a party during the first event of the World Tour the Quiksilver Pro on the Gold Coast.
The Bacardi bar by the pool was in full swing by 7pm and the line to get into the D.PAYNE party at Komune Resort was lined up as far as the eye could see! As the night fell the party got wild, and by wild, we mean really wild! The crowd stood shoulder to shoulder lining up for Bacardi Cocktails by the pool and Coronas from the main bar inside. With a banging playlist from Guvera and the DJ on the decks the party was headed in one and only direction!
The surfers, girls, the surf Industry who’s who, and general public mingled, drank and drank! The photobooth was subject to some of the highlights of the nights with plenty of girls getting involved behind the “closed curtain”.
Dusty Payne was there from start to finish posing for photos with multiple women and men!
