APRIL 26, 2010 | ELECTRIC’S LIBOR PODMOL TAKES 1ST | BASEL, SWITZERLAND
Electric’s Libor Podmol has taken over the points lead of the FIM IFMXF World Championship after a solid showing in Basel Switzerland on the weekend.
Libor dominated day 1 putting together a flawless run in the final to win in front of Rob Adelberg. The second night Libor was very unlucky not to win as in the final he changed his run from the night before instead of doing a undeflip indy he performed a world first double nac underflip but to his disappointment the judges did not see it and thought he had missed going for underflip indy and scored him down leaving him in 3rd for the night.
“I am very happy to leave Basel with points lead with Rob it is going to be a fight to the last round for world championship, thanks to all my sponsors who are behind me, I am working hard and looking forward to the rest of the year” said Libor.
From Basel Libor is headed to Egypt for the second round of Red Bull X Fighters then directly after egypt he will fly to Turkey for round 4 of the World Championship.
Libor would like to thank his sponsors
Electric Visual, Rockstar Energy, DC Shoes, Bonver, Fox Racing, Pro Taper, FMF, Works Connection, Slim Graphix, Alpinestars, Ethika, Motorex, and Uni Filter.
