Tomorrow is our last day in Yamba and the waves are going to be the best we’ve seen this week. A little south swell just arrived this afternoon with my good friend The Law.

Being here this week has been farking insane, we’ve been eating like Kings, drinking at Australia’s best pub and surfing everyday rain, hail or shine. The Law and I had a really fun surf this afternoon together on my old single fin and plan to hit Angourie point in the morning for our last surf here.

I also got to surf my first board shaped by myself yesterday. Went pretty good and like most surf’s you have I got some fun waves on it and then some bad ones too. It mainly got me amped to shape another more when I get home, so look out for Hoy Shapes.

So hope you have all enjoyed our pics and make sure you look for our trip in this month Tracks. We will also have a sick team movie coming out on the cover of Tracks this coming November so hope you enjoy it.

Well I’ve been having a great week with all the Electric crew, as well as catch up with some of the local crew I grew up surfing with.

We’ve had some great sessions with the boys. I’ve been blown away with Ry & Craig’s surfing. I told Hoy over a beer yesterday I’m going to go surf by myself and practice at a secret location, then come out of nowhere and start doing turns like these guys. What their doing is totally blowing my mind.

We just had a crazy storm come through this afternoon. I was shooting some photos with Bacco for my coming Electric ad while the rest were down the beach playing some footie. Out of nowhere these huge black clouds came though, followed by a crazy wind, which created a mini tornado. It was insane.

All I need now to complete my trip here is a session with Hoy & Law out at Angourie. Thanks for checking out our pics, make sure you buy the next issue of Tracks Magazine to catch our trip on the DVD cover mount.

Pretty sure I’m the most excited Grom right now. Hanging and surfing with all the Electric boys this week has been so cool. Surfing with Ry and Craig has got me so amped to try new tricks and push my surfing to the next level.

I got up super early this morning, I think it was around 5am and took the ski over to surf Illuka with Warto. We scored some sick barrels with only 4 other guys out. We got home about 8am for some breakfast and woke the crew up to let them know the waves were pumping.

Not sure if anyone has talked about the house Electric rented us yet, but I think it’s the sickest house I’ve ever stayed in. It’s straight across from the beach over looking a break called Pippies, meaning we don’t have to go anywhere to check the conditions.

Thanks for checking out my blog and make sure you get the December issue of Tracks, cause we going to have a surf movie from our trip on the cover.

Here I am, on my first trip with Electric since joining the team at the beginning of this year. Sickest crew to hang with and surfing with every-one has been blowing my mind. Rasta’s surfing is off the hook, are you for real how good this guy surfs.

Our day started with yet another sleep-in hahahaha, we’re all useless at getting up for the early. It’s been a pretty shitty day here a few massive rain showers have hit us through out the day. Ry and I check our favorite wedge Turners at least four times today before hitting it just on dark.

Since we spent most the day hanging around Monkey and Pete thought we should best get out and experience some of the local town attractions. So a few rounds of lawn bowls, with some cold beers it was at the local bowls club. I was pretty bad to start with but ended up smoking them all……….well I won the first two rounds and beat Hoy.

Dinner is about to be served and the boys are cracking me a cold beer so better hit it. Thanks and make sue you tune in soon for our team video coming out next month with Tracks.

Hey crew we’ve all been here for a few days now and scoring some sick waves. Group plan last night was to get up for the early, but after a few beers last night, followed by a couple of well mixed Bourbons by the man Mr Peter Dodd our early wake-up became a sleep in.

Once the boys became aware the sun was shining and waves were pumping we all adventured over to Iluka. Hoy and I had a hell time up against the break wall, while the rest attacked some wedging lefts down the beach.

It’s insane how much swell this part of the coastline sucks in, as well as the variety of waves. Living just an hour’s drive from here means we come & surf here a lot. Plus the local crew like Laurie, Nav, Walts & Dan Ross are some of the nicest crew to score a surf with.

Time to help out with the BBQ as we just scored some fish from Laurie’s Dad, check ya all soon and hope you enjoy today’s pics.

Well I’ve just arrived in Yamba after a huge trip over from the West. Hard to believe I was surfing 10-foot pits yesterday at the Barri and I’m now here surfing my favorite east coast beachie Turners with all the Electric peeps.

On the drive down we pulled into Byron and picked up our 37 cases of beer thanks to our friends from Carlton and Electric’s has rented us the biggest house in town straight across from the surf, so the week ahead is looking to a good one.

Woody’s just checked the swell forecast and it’s looking to be a sick week of waves down here, so pretty excited to surf my brains out with and hang with all the boys.

Well I’ve got to run as we’re off to shoot my new add with the one and only Steve Baccon. Thanks for checking out the team’s blog and pics from this week’s trip I’m sure their going to be lots of great stuff to come.

Craikey!
